  • Masks are required to be worn for the duration of your visit & service. I'll be masked as well. I'll admit - I was skeptical about getting a massage while wearing a mask, but I found it to be really comfortable and not at all impactful to my session. I recommend bringing a mask that you're already comfortable wearing, but I have a limited supply of paper surgical masks just in case.

  • You will be asked to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer upon your arrival. I will also ask you to verify that you are not currently experiencing nor have you been around anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms within 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you have any doubts about your potential exposure or feel unwell, you can reschedule your appointment with no cancellation or rescheduling fees.

  • Sessions are spaced with a minimum of 30 minutes between them to allow for adequate cleaning and sanitizing, and to allow for social distancing.

  • Air purifiers are used to help clean the air in the treatment room.

  • All linens are changed out and laundered after each session, and the table is disinfected with an EPA-registered cleaner before being re-dressed.

  • All commonly touched surfaces (door knobs/handles, etc.) are disinfected after each client and regularly throughout the day.

  • As of April 2021, I am fully vaccinated. Hooray!

  • Have a question not answered here? Email and I'll be happy to help.

  • Wash your hands, wear a mask, be kind, stay safe.

Massage therapy & COVID-19

To say that the pandemic of 2020 has been a stressful situation would be a massive understatement. One thing that remains true regardless of how weird and out-of-control the world can feel these days is that massage therapy WORKS. Stress-related tension? Feeling the pain from a less-than-ergonomic work from home setup? Exhausted from trying to keep up with remote learning (for yourself or your kids)? There's a massage for that! Book an appointment today and let's try to get things back in alignment.

Things get a little trickier for those who contract and recover from COVID-19. We're just now starting to learn of the complications and after-effects, which range from minor lingering respiratory issues to more serious cardiac or neurological disorders. There hasn't yet been enough research to fully understand how this disease may impact people post-recovery.

If you have recovered from COVID-19, please confirm with your medical doctor that you are cleared to receive massage therapy.
